भारत और न्यूज़ीलैंड के बीच वर्ल्ड टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप का फाइनल होने में तीन दिन से भी कम का समय बचा है। एकतरफ कीवी टीम इंग्लैंड को उसी की धरती पर धूल चटाकर बुलंद हौंसलों के साथ इस मैच में उतरेगी जबकि टीम इंडिया ने सिर्फ एक इंट्रास्कवॉड मैच के जरिए ही अपनी तैयारियों को अंज़ाम दिया है।
हालांकि, इसी बीच ये भी क्रिकेट जगत में ये भी आवाज़ें उठनी शुरू हो गई थी कि वर्ल्ड टेस्ट चैंपियनशिप के फाइनल में तीन टेस्ट मैच (Best of three) होने चाहिए थे। लेकिन अब इस सबसे बड़े सवाल का जवाब आईसीसी ने दिया है कि आखिरकार उन्होंने तीन मैचों की बजाय सिर्फ एक ही फाइनल क्यों रखा।
