South Africa vice-captain Chloe Tryon and head coach Hilton Moreeng are full of excitement and sounded upbeat about starting their team's journey in women's T20 cricket's first appearance at 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

Saturday will see South Africa get their Group B campaign underway against New Zealand at the Edgbaston Cricket Ground before taking on England (August 2) and Sri Lanka (August 4) for a place in the semifinals.
