Indian Premier League: Five-time champions Mumbai Indians will wear black armbands during their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 game against Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the Wankhede Stadium as a mark of respect for legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle, who passed away on Sunday.

Bhosle, a towering figure in India’s music industry who delivered tons of memorable Hindi songs in her eight-decade long career, passed away at the age of 92 at the Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai.
