न्यूज़ीलैंड के वनडे और टी20 कप्तान बने मिचेल सैंटनर
New Zealand: बाएं हाथ के स्पिनर मिचेल सैंटनर को न्यूज़ीलैंड के सीमित ओवर टीमों का कप्तान बनाया गया है। वह औपचारिक तौर पर केन विलियमसन की जगह लेंगे, जिन्होंने जून में हुए टी20 विश्व कप के बाद से ही यह पद छोड़ दिया था।
सैंटनर ने 243 अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुक़ाबलों में न्यूज़ीलैंड का प्रतिनिधित्व किया है। अब वह वनडे और टी20 टीमों के स्थायी कप्तान के रूप में कार्यभार संभालेंगे। इससे पहले वह 24 टी20 और 4 वनडे मैचों में टीम की कप्तानी कर चुके हैं।
सैंटनर पिछले महीने श्रीलंका गई न्यूज़ीलैंड की टी20 और वनडे टीमों के कप्तान बनाए गए थे, हालांकि यह नियुक्ति बस उस सीरीज़ के लिए थी। फ़िलहाल औपचारिक और आधिकारिक तौर पर उन्हें सीमित ओवर टीमों का कप्तान बना दिया गया है।
